Queens & Studs

At present Sorafel has three active queens

Tajura Tazanna (Bella), Sorafel Leonora and Supatoft Pollyanna.

Bella and Leonora are heterozygous silver (one silver parent) and they will produce a mixture of silver and solids from any stud. Fawn silver and Blue silver (both these colours are dilute of sorrel and usual respectively).

Leonora carries sorrel so we can get a full range of colours except Chocolate and Lilac unless she goes to a chocolate/lilac carrying stud.

Bella & Polly are fawn silver & fawn so any colour other than fawn or sorrel is determined by the sire

Sorfafel Reya Rosanna (Reya), the Sorrel Silver Princess (carrying dilute)

All the Sorafel queens are PK Def clear, either tested or the offspring of 2 clears.

Tajura Tazanna (Bella) came to us in October 2005 as the second SORAFEL Breeding queen. She is a fawn silver and is PK Def clear. She carries sorrel from her mother. She is our foundation queen. She is the daughter of Nainasus Aldea and Tajura Aziza.

Her first litter to Int Ch Blue Ludwig of Nazik produced 2 kittens, Sorafel Augustus (fawn silver) and Sorafel Leonora (blue silver). Leonora stayed with us and became the 1st Sorafel Prefix Queen.

Bella's 2nd litter to Brizlincoat Beau Geste (a Usual) produced a Usual Silver Female Kitten SORAFEL CLEOPATRA BEAUBELL

Bella's 3rd litter to Tajura Arctic Moon produced 5 gorgeous babies, one usual silver girl, 4 boys (a fawn, fawn silver, usual silver and sorrel). The usual silver boy is now a stud boy in Ireland and has fathered his first litter and obtained his first CC as an adult.

Her pedigree

Sorafel Leonora (A blue silver) was born on the 20/7/2006. Her parents are Tajura Tazanna and Int Ch Blue Ludwig of Nazik. Leonora is the first kitten with the SORAFEL prefix and is extremely extrovert and has become one of Sorafel's breeding queens. She carries sorrel from her mother. She is PKDef Clear (normal) and her father is PRA Tested Normal.

Leonora appeared to enjoy her first three shows and brought home a couple of rosettes as souvenirs from every show she's gone too. She is semi retired from the show bench and prefers motherhood. (1st litter in 2008, 2nd 2009 and one due shortly).
