Sorafel information:

Sorafel was created from the first letter of the names of the first 3 cats, Soshi, Raffles, Eleanor.

The cats: We have 6 cats. (please see the Cats page) Two non-pedigree neutered ½Abyssinian blues (one each male and female who are uncle and niece and 4 Somali Pedigree Queens. A Fawn Silver (sorafels's foundation queen) and her  daughter a Blue Silver, and two recent additions a usual somali variant (short haired) and a Fawn.  If the sums don't add up right, don't worry, it means we added another feline or two and forgot to update all the pages! We are hoping for another addition shortly (or two ....).  

The Somali Queens are:

 The silvers:

1) Tajura Tazanna (Bella) came to us in October 2005 as the second SORAFEL Breeding queen. She has produced 2 litters to date and we have kept the daughter from each litter as our future queens.  She is PKDef and PRA Normal (Clear).

2)  “Sorafel Leonora”, our first prefix queen is a Blue Silver who was born on 20/7/2006. Her sire is Int. Ch. Blue Ludwig of Nazik. Leonora made a first appearance on the show bench where she picked up an Open First and Best of Breed in the Kitten Class before she became a mum.  Please see kitten page for more details. She is PKDef and PRA Normal (Clear).

 The Solids: (non-silver)

3) "Tajura Tinkerbelle" is a short haired (variant) usual somali born on 10/10/2008 who will in her turn become a Queen. She is PKDef Clear and Sire PRA tested Normal (Clear).

4) "Supatoft Pollyanna" a fawn girl, a half sister to Tagher Lady Eleanor our first Somali.  She is PKDef and PRA Normal (Clear).

Retired Queens:

Tagher Lady Eleanor (Ellie) who is the daughter of Sire: UK Grand Champion Astrokini Fils Debolly (Fawn silver) and Dam: Ruffian Champagne Truffle (Chocolate).

Ellie came into our lives to replace Amber who went missing in September 2003. (Please see missing cat section for more information).

Sorafel Cleopatra Beaubell A Usual silver born on 14/3/2007 to Tajura Tazanna and Gr CH Brizlincoat Beau Geste. Cleo had two litters of only kittens (both girls) and has now retired from breeding.
